We have kicked off the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Annual Catholic Appeal. Many of our parishioners have already received a mailing from Cardinal Cupich. This year’s theme for the Annual Catholic Appeal is Together We Bring Light. The theme this year was selected to remind us that our contributions to the Annual Catholic Appeal enable the funded ministries and services to come follow Jesus, and together we bring Christ’s light to others in the darkness of war, violence and hunger in the world.
Commitment Weekend will be on February 14-15, 2026, and Cardinal Cupich will speak to you through his recorded homily at all the Masses asking you to generously support the Annual Catholic Appeal. Through the Annual Catholic Appeal, we together join Christ in his great work, by helping parishes and schools in need, supporting programs of faith formation, and those that promote justice, peace, and respect for life. But we also reach out to the world, to bring hope to people who suffer natural disasters, famine, homelessness and war. All of this makes a difference because it is the work of Christ.
Our parish goal this year is $ 41,762.46 and after we reach our goal, 100% of any additional funds come back to our parish to help to fund our needs. We reached the goal from last year and hopefully with your help we will do it again this year. Thanks for all your support not only through this Annual Catholic Appeal but also your generous support to our parish community.
If you received your pledge form in the mail, please complete it and mail it back or bring it to Mass next weekend. For those of you that did not receive a mailing or have not had time to respond to it, we will conduct our in-pew pledge process at all Masses on February 14-15. You can also contribute online by using the link below. Please remember to add our Parish name on your offering form so that we get credit.
