The Chosen is a groundbreaking historical TV show based on the life of Jesus Christ (played by Jonathan Roumie), seen through the eyes of those who knew him. Set against the backdrop of Roman oppression in first-century Israel, the seven-season show shares an authentic and intimate look at Jesus’ revolutionary life and teachings.

SEASON 1 CONTINUES ON JUNE 18 AT ST. CYPRIAN – Watch Season 1 at St. Cyprian on Tuesdays after the 8 AM Mass in the rectory (about 8:40 AM) – We will be watching Episode 3 on June 18: “Jesus Loves the Little Children” – Jesus befriends and teaches the group of children who discover His camp on the outskirts of Capernaum. Join us for cake and coffee and companionship as we watch together!

SEASON 4 CONTINUES ON JUNE 19 AT ST. CELESTINE – Season 4 covers Jesus’ ministry leading up to His entrance into Jerusalem – You can see the Episodes of Season 4 (dates shown below) at 6:30 PM at St. Celestine on Wednesday evenings in the Fireside Room – We will be watching Episode 5 on June 19 – “Sitting, Serving, Scheming” – Roman soldiers demand the disciples carry their armor, but Jesus goes one step farther. Frustrated by the direction of Jesus’ ministry, Judas visits an old friend for advice.
