FALL SESSION – Do you ever wonder; Is there more to life than this? Did Jesus really exist? Who needs Christianity any more? The Alpha program will be returning in October and will be offered on the same Saturdays that Religious Ed takes place at St. Celestine from 9:45 to 11 AM. Parents of Religious Ed kids and anyone not a parent of a Religious Ed kid is invited to the Fireside Room for coffee and bagels, a video about life’s most important questions and a non-judgmental discussion of questions central to Christianity. Come and see, starting October 7.

What is Alpha? – Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, run over seven weeks. Each week a meal is served, there is a video to watch on an element of the Christian faith, followed by a small group discussion about faith and topics covered in the video. Alpha is run all over the world, and all are welcome.

What do others think of Alpha? – Responses are from the Spring Session:

  • I came to realize how great and wonderful it is to be in a “small church” like Alpha; listening and sharing one’s faith experience is very enlightening.
  • It was good to hear people’s personal stories and know God is active in each one’s life.
  • It was fun every week looking at different topics of our faith.
