We had a very prayerful May Crowning at St. Cyprian on Sunday, May 1 at the 9 AM Mass. We would like to thank Jeanne for organizing this special occasion – See picture below!
On Sunday, May 15, we honored Mary with a traditional procession of her image through the streets of Elmwood Park, immediately following the 11 AM Mass at St. Celestine, and concluded with the crowning of the statue of Mary in front of the school and an Ice Cream Social. Thanks to all who organized it, Elmwood Park police for escorting us in the procession, the beautiful First Holy Communion students and the ladies who helped crown Mary, and all who helped with the Ice Cream Social after – See video and pictures of procession, crowning and ice cream social below!
