June 5-6, 2021

WITH GRATITUDE – During the weekend of June 5-6, 2021, Fr. Brendan said goodbye at all the Masses before moving to his new assignment. We are grateful to Fr. Brendan for his two years of dedicated service to our parish community. We wish him well and may the Lord bless him and strengthen him as he moves on to his next assignment. Thank you for all you do!

Here is a farewell message from Father Brendan:

Dear Parishioners,

As my time here at St. Mother Theodore Guerin Parish draws to a close, I wanted to take this opportunity to say goodbye and to thank all of you. I have greatly enjoyed my time here in this parish and I have enjoyed working with so many of you. While, because of the pandemic that has been part of much of my time here, I haven’t gotten to work with all of you as much as I hoped, it has been wonderful to see how Jesus Christ is at work in you as individuals and as a parish. There are many wonderful people here and I know that our Lord will continue to be at work with you as he has been.

Know that I will continue to keep all of you in prayer as I begin the next chapter of my priestly life. I will be the associate pastor at a parish that will, at least temporarily, be called Saints Robert Bellarmine and Constance when they are merged on July 1. Please keep the people of St. Robert Bellarmine and St. Constance in prayer as they prepare for this merger. We know what the challenges are as well as the possible benefits that come from these circumstances. Please pray for me as well.

It has been wonderful to work with you all. May God bless you and keep you all the days of your life.

In Christ,
Fr. Brendan
