Mass of Thanksgiving for Bishop Jeffrey Grob 2020

Our Mass of Thanksgiving for Bishop Jeffrey Grob was celebrated on Sunday, November 15 at 10:30 AM at St. Celestine Church. It was also live-streamed on Facebook. The Episcopal Ordination of three Bishops-Elect: Kevin M. Birmingham, Jeffrey S. Grob and Robert J. Lombardo, CFR, took place on the feast of St. Francis Xavier Cabrini on Friday, November 13, 2020.

We would like to express our heartfelt congratulations and warmest best wishes to Bishop Jeffrey S. Grob on his Episcopal Ordination on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Holy Name Cathedral as he becomes an Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago. May the Lord shower His abundant blessings upon Bishop Grob as he begins his new ministry to serve the Lord and His Church. Bishop Grob, who was pastor of St. Celestine Parish in Elmwood Park from 2008 to 2013, will serve as an Episcopal Vicar in Vicariate I and continue to stay with us until summer 2021. We are grateful for his support and his assistance with the weekend Masses. We are very proud of him and give thanks to God for his dedication and humble service to the Church.
