The Chosen is a groundbreaking historical TV show based on the life of Jesus Christ (played by Jonathan Roumie), seen through the eyes of those who knew him. Set against the backdrop of Roman oppression in first-century Israel, the seven-season show shares an authentic and intimate look at Jesus’ revolutionary life and teachings.
The Chosen Daytime at St. Cyprian – We are watching The Chosen, Season 5 after the 8 AM Mass on Tuesdays in the Rectory at St. Cyprian – If you are free on Tuesday mornings, come to the 8 AM Mass at St. Cyprian and immediately following it we show an episode from The Chosen – Season 5 has just been released; they are currently filming Season 6 and the last season, Season 7 will be available in 2027. Season 5 begins with Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem and ends with his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane.
You can also watch the show on The Chosen app or Amazon Prime, but you won’t get coffee, coffeecake, and the camaraderie of watching it with us! Join us in the rectory right after Mass on Tuesdays – July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and August 5, 12, 19, and 26 to watch Season 5.
