Congratulations to Aliza on her Quinceañera on July 7, 2023 at St. Celestine Church – A Quinceañera is a traditional celebration of life and gratitude to God on the occasion of the fifteenth birthday of a young Latino woman. The ritual emphasizes her passage from childhood to adulthood. There is usually a Mass or a blessing held in the Church to mark the occasion. A prayer to Mary at a Quinceañera: Oh Mary, my Mother, please present my offering and my life to the Lord; be my model of a courageous woman of Faith, be my strength and my guide. You have the power to change hearts; take my heart then, and make me a worthy daughter of yours. Amen.
